Two major concerns: OpenClaw has extremely high permissions (can wipe your entire computer) and burns through tokens fast. Nobody dares to run it with Claude Opus 4.5.

🚀 VM Installation Tutorial

1Install Virtual Machine

I recommend Parallels Desktop — it can install a macOS VM with one click. The default version matches your local machine.

Parallels Desktop has been around for 20 years. Installation is straightforward — mostly just clicking "confirm."

2Install OpenClaw

Open Terminal in your VM and run:

This automatically checks for Node.js 22+, git, and Homebrew. Installation takes about 3-4 minutes.

3Initial Configuration

OpenClaw will show a safety disclaimer. Since you're using a VM, you're protected — click Yes.

Choose QuickStart when prompted, then configure the model.

4Configure Model

Don't use Claude! 10 million tokens/day is genuinely unaffordable. Use MiniMax or Qwen instead.

💬 Feishu (Lark) Integration

Step 1: Install Plugin

Install this command: openclaw plugins install @m1heng-clawd/feishu

Step 2: Configure Feishu App

Go to open.feishu.cn, create an app, add bot capability. Copy App ID and App Secret.

Step 3: Enable Permissions

Search for im and contact in Permission Management.

Step 4: Event Configuration

Important: Set event/callback config to Long Connection mode, then add the four required events.
